Where to Stay in Budva? Short Tips

Budva Accommodation Options

Here is an article that I have written for people who love short articles like me. Located along the Adriatic Sea coast, Budva, is one of Montenegro’s most historic cities with over 2500 years of history. A portion of the Old Town, formerly Stari Grad is a major area which attracts tourists in large numbers. Its narrow, stone-paved streets lead to a journey through history, offering a ride back in time.

Budva is a perfect destination for enthusiasts of beauty, especially during the summer season, when its coastline becomes a world-renowned attraction due to its feature in the James Bond film series.

So, where should you stay in Budva? For more detailed information on this subject, you can browse other articles labeled “Budva” on our website. In order to keep this short article really short, we immediately move on to our recommendations for various parts of Budva.

Budva Boutique Hotel Rates

Home to 17 sandy beaches along the Adriatic Sea shore and an antiquated city center, Budva attracts countless visitors each year and due to this there is a vast choice for those looking at hotels in Budva; catering from luxury abodes to down-to-earth budget sleepovers.

While these rates may vary seasonally, the typical Budva hotel rates per night are as follows:

  • Luxury hotels: 100€-200€
  • Mid-level hotels: 30€-90€
  • Budget hotels: 10€-30€

The above-mentioned prices are double the average cost for a single night’s stay. Prices may fluctuate based on seasonal changes and hotel offers.

Ideal Regions

This small city has so many types of accommodations for travelers. Most of these establishments are concentrated around the Old Town (Stari Grad), ensuring convenience and proximity. Additionally, staying in an area referred to as “the castle” allows you to be both close to attractions and within walking distance of certain beaches.

However, if you prefer a more relaxed beach holiday for accommodation, you can choose between the two beaches of Budva and Becici Rafailovici.

● Old Town (Stari Grad)

While I had stayed in Stari Grad, the most well-known section of Budva is a highly desirable area to reside. It offers convenience to the beach as well as many tourist attractions in walking range. You can walk from your hotel through the narrow streets and find boutique shops, trendy boutiques and many restaurants offering local dishes.

● Becici Beach

Becici Beach – stretches for more than 2km catching the eye of any tourist and provides a wide range of accommodation opportunities It is home to lavish 5-star Budva Hotels with great amenities, as well as an array of budget options to cater to every taste and need.

● Rafailovici Beach

Rafailovici Beach – Smaller and more charming than Becici, Rafailovic is the eastern neighbour of Budva’s (Becici) strand that sits in front of 2km long Stefanstij Island offering less-touristy a laid-back charm alternative. Even though you are in Budva center, there is a walking path that connects these two beaches for 3 miles. Or you can choose to ride a mini-train that leaves on an hourly basis as well.
